Military training

PLURAL is approved and accredited by a number of professional organisations such HSE, ELCAS, AREMT and HABC. This in itself prove that our courses, trainers and management processes are audited and approved to current standards.

Our trainers are experienced and qualified within the medical field and have a range of backgrounds within the NHS - Ambulance Service and within the Military.

Our trainers all currently work in either of these areas and can therefore speak directly from credible and current experience.

Our chief instructor is a current serving consultant / contractor for Doc Hagmann of Deployment Medicine International (DMI) in the delivery of BATLS courses pre-Afghanistan.  Doc Hagmann has legendary status and wrote the original TCCC programme which we salute him as he has changed tactical trauma forever.

There are two key established areas within PLURAL:

1.  Tactical Medical Training - STORM DET (Special Tactical Ops Remote Medicine Detachment)

2.  Emergency Medical Training - MERT WING (Medical Emergency Response Team Wing).

Security Training

It is essential that individuals working in the private security industry undergo a structured training programme that results in a recognised qualification.  PLURAL runs a series of security courses which are approved by the Security Industry Authority.  We also deliver the Life Support qualifications which are often required within the security industry - IHCD First Person on Scene BASIC and INTERMEDIATE - see our medical courses section.

PLURAL trainers undertake a rigorous internal training programme in order to reach the high standards we require for anyone delivering our work. Our trainers are experienced and knowledgeable, working within our ethos and processes.  They have a superb ability to adapt our work to suit the needs of the people in the room as well as fulfilling the objectives of the course.
